[CG :2 LineBUCKY ORTONSuper Fish]

An Avid Fly fisherman, Bucky his brother Wade and Wade’s two sons Evan and Justin went out for a little pre-superbowl fishing trip in southern Utah. About four hours before kickoff, Bucky latched into this huge brown trout on a pattern he and his son Dawson designed. He was only using 6X flourocarbon, which is equivalent to 3 pound test, but still managed to land this 10.5 pound, 28 inch long brown. The boys even made it home in time for kickoff.

[CG :2 LineOrrin OlsenDream come true]

Orrin has always dreamed of catching a king on the Kenai. His dream came true last summer when after only being out on the river for ten minutes, this 52 pound beast hit. Orrin says the big fish went airborne several times and it was a wild battle before he could finally coax him to the boat. Not bad for his first Kenai king.

Ray’s 13 year old daughter Katelyn is turning out to be quite the hunter and dad couldn’t be more proud. Las fall about a half hour after sun up, Katelyn made a great 125 yard shot at this beautiful 4 by 3, with a savage 243. We all remember our first buck and Katelyn is off to a great start.

[CG :2 LineDavid LangfordStansbury Ram]

Dave , his son Ryan and their buddy Seth, had a great time on Dave’s Stansbury Sheep hunt back in November. Dave says they picked this ram to shoot, even though there were bigger on the mountain because this ram had no ear tags or collar and was born on the range. Dave says, the ram is 5 to 6 years old, a fun hunt.

[CG :2 LineMichelle RichensShootin’ Sheep]

Michelle shot a few sheep as well, but these she captured with her camera. Michelle was hiking around near the Gates of Ladore on the Green River last summer when she spotted this bachelor herd of rams. She was able to get within 20 feet to get these great shots before the boys spotted her.
