Randy, his grandson Skyler and son-in-law Stuart had a fun trip to Strawberry this winter. Fishing the Soldier Creek side they caught many trout including this Skyler’s twenty inch cutt that they thought might be the fish of the day. Then just at sunset, Stu pulled out this twenty four inch slot buster, a great fish to end a great day.

Check out grandpa Elvin’s biggest buck to date! While hiking with his grandson Cody they jump this buck from his bed and grandpa Elvin dropped him with one shot. Cody say’s it was awesome to see his granddad jumping up and down and acting like a kid again. The 12X5 cactus buck sports a 30 inch outside spread and a 5 inch droptine.

Jeff and his stepson Joseph braved the minus 12 degree temperature to see if they could find any chukars. Not seeing anything, they started working back to the truck when this cottontail took off through the bushes. Joseph missed his first shot, but didn’t miss his second. Jeff says it was a great day in the hills for him and Joseph.

Ryan and his buddy ended this years waterfowl season in style. Not only did they limit out on ducks, but they also had a flock of honkers come right in. Ryan says every time he pulled the trigger he watched a goose fold. In fact they both knocked down their limits with three shots apiece. Ryan says it was a great way to end the season.

Kyle sent this picture of his Father-in law Bud Speth. Bud has been battling cancer and Kyle says this picture is one they will always remember. The fishing was good that day at Strawberry and this picture was snapped as Bud began to laugh as the fish tried to get away. Kyle says Bud’s smile seems to be set in time and it reminds them of what a great example Bud has been to their family. May Bud’s smile live on In their memories forever.

And finally our winner tonight shows us the best photo he’s ever taken. Troy was driving through Northern Utah last week when he came across this barn owl sitting just off the road. Troy grabbed his camera, which he says he always takes with him just for circumstances such as this and snapped over 200 pictures of the owl. Troy says it was a treat to see such an animal and get some great shots. Well no argument here Troy, that is a great shot, as you just won the snapshot of the week.
