We kick it off with one hungary bass. Tyson and his wife Cydnee were out fishing when a storm rolled in. They were packing up to leave, when Tyson decided to make one final cast and while reeling in a small bass, this giant 23 inch monster latched on and Tyson landed a double on his crankbait.

While attending the Utah AFS conference down at Lake Powell, Stephen got this rare shot of male wood duck hanging with some mallards around Wahweap Marina. The drake seemed a bit lost but according to stephen seemed happy to enjoy some warmth and red rock.

Jace and his girlfriend Kandis Bates were fishing down at Utah lake when Kandis caught her very first largemouth bass. Jace says, he is so proud of Kandis, she worked hard for this fish that tipped the scales at just over six pounds.

Zeb went fishing with his in-laws a few weeks ago in Central Utah and had a blast catching some good sized trout. But the fish of the day went to his brother-in-law Jacob who caught this nice brown trout with another still in his mouth. Zeb says he has no idea how that fish ate Jacobs worm with a mouthful of fish, but he says, Jake is one lucky angler!

But our winner tonight just completed her hunters safety and won the Utah lottery her first time applying. All of Nicole’s friends told her it would take years to draw a bear tag, but Nicole did it with zero points! This past spring while hunting the San Juan bear unit, she had the help of many friends and dogs as they treed this big bore. Nicole says, she didn’t know what to expect and was certainly scared because..HELLO, it was a bear!. But her hunt worked out perfectly and she so grateful for the help she received. A great story Nicole and some great pictures to boot, as Utah’s newest sportswoman, just won our snapshot of the week!
