Our snapshots tonight, kickoff from where we left off, Pybus Point Lodge. Glen Harward works for Redmond Real Salt out of Heber City. After seeing how much fun we had at Pybus, Redmond executives decided to take some of their employees up for some fishing. Glen ended up catching the catch of the trip, this one hundred and seventy five pound halibut. Glen says he waited his entire life for this moment.

Fourteen year old Daniel Richards worked odd jobs and saved up five hundred dollars to go to Alaska with his grandpa and grandma. Daniel had the time of his young life, fishing for salmon and halibut. He even got to captain the halibut boat. It was a trip of a lifetime, this young man will never forget.

Gary Felter was fishing for salmon in Elfin Cove Alaska, when this humpback whale decided to take a closer look. The whale came within fifteen feet of the boat, rolled sideways and went back down.

Dan and his buddy Ike took Dan’s two boys, Josh and Isaac on an Ontario fly-in fishing trip. Dan says the fishing was spectacular, they boys had a blast, but the highlight of the trip was the incredible northern light display they witnessed one evening.

But our winner tonight won a fully guided Alaskan dall sheep hunt with Ultima Thule Outfitters. Troy won this hunt at a Full Curl Society meeting back in 2012. Troy says it was the best hunt he’s ever been on, a great chance for the average Joe to go on a sheep hunt. The guides treated him like he was a paying client. He took this ram after looking over 9 other rams on the second day of the season. The Alaska Fish and Game told Troy his trophy was 12 years old.
